Laser whitening removes stains in just one visit, restoring a white smile in about 60 minutes. This method involves a controlled chemical process activated by a laser targeting stains embedded in the tooth structure. The dentist applies a special whitening gel based on hydrogen peroxide. Our products break down complex organic compounds into CO2 and H2O. This oxidation reaction effectively removes stains and restores whiteness. The fast-acting gel shortens the procedure time while delivering excellent results. Teeth regain their natural shine, and the effect lasts on average for two years with proper diet and oral hygiene. The procedure is painless and completely safe. All in-office whitening treatments at Royal Dent are performed personally by the dentist.
During the first visit, the dentist examines your teeth and gums. If necessary, temporary restorations are placed because fillings, bridges, and crowns do not whiten. Next, impressions of your teeth are taken. Custom whitening trays are prepared in the dental lab based on these impressions. You receive the trays along with syringes and whitening gel of appropriate strength (10% or 15%, depending on tooth sensitivity). At home, you apply the gel into the trays, wear them overnight (8 hours), allowing the whitening agents to penetrate the teeth and oxidize stains. The full treatment lasts 8-10 nights, with visible results after the first night. After about two weeks, once the color stabilizes, the dentist will finalize any restorations to match the new shade. Some patients may experience temporary sensitivity to cold, which can be managed with desensitizing products. Over the years, teeth may slightly darken due to staining substances like tobacco, coffee, or tea. To maintain the bright color, the dentist may recommend occasional touch-up whitening at home for one or two nights every few years.
