Warranty (statutory liability for defects) – Royal Dent Dental Clinic (27 Grudnia Street 7, Poznań) – hereinafter referred to as the Clinic.
Each dental service performed entirely at the Royal Dent Dental Clinic is covered by a warranty:
Detailed provisions are regulated by the Polish Civil Code.
Additionally, the warranty period for certain procedures may be individually shortened or extended.
General warranty conditions:
Failure to meet the above conditions will result in limitation or loss of warranty coverage.
The warranty does not apply to services performed in other clinics or to temporary solutions.
Repairs are carried out exclusively at our Clinic, and treatment costs outside the Clinic are not refundable.
Fillings:
Endodontics (root canal treatment):
Despite the use of the most advanced techniques, both primary and secondary root canal treatments involve a risk of failure, as the outcome depends on how the individual organism can overcome infection in the root canal system or periapical area.
Therefore, Royal Dent Dental Clinic does not provide a warranty for root canal treatment.
However, if within 12 months of completing the initial root canal treatment the patient experiences pain in the treated tooth, the Clinic undertakes to perform paid re-treatment, while the post-and-core restoration and tooth reconstruction, which may be damaged during re-treatment, will be done at the Clinic’s expense.
If, despite retreatment, the tooth must be extracted, the extraction cost will be covered by the Clinic.
After 12 months from completion of the initial treatment, any additional procedures, including retreatment, apicoectomy, or extraction, will be charged according to the current price list.
Retreatment (re-endo) is not covered by warranty.
Implants:
The duration of the manufacturer’s warranty depends on the implant system used.
Warranty on the dental implant (intraosseous fixture):
The implant warranty covers possible material defects of the implant itself,
but does not cover costs of materials or medical procedures related to re-implantation, bone or soft tissue treatment (e.g., bone regeneration, gum grafting).
Such procedures may be required due to the unpredictable biological response of the body to the implant and its load.
Failure to attend control visits every 6 months reduces the warranty to 1 year.
Warranty for implant abutments – 5 years.
Prosthetic works:
Orthodontics:
Not covered by warranty due to biological factors and the need for patient cooperation.
The first repair of the appliance (in case of breakage) is free of charge, subsequent ones are paid.
Mechanical damage caused by the patient is not covered by warranty.
Exclusions from warranty and liability:
The warranty does not apply in cases of:
Possible complications:
Before starting dental treatment, the patient must be aware that, despite the greatest care and diligence of the medical team, undesirable complications may occur that are not subject to complaint, such as:
tooth or tissue pain, limited mouth opening (trismus), tooth fracture, swelling, abscess, hematoma, bleeding after surgery, fever, local infection, malaise, allergic reactions to medications or materials, aggravation of pre-existing diseases, failure of periapical healing, implant rejection, or bone graft rejection.
The dentist will inform the patient about the possible risks and complications related to specific procedures during the treatment consultation.
